The underlying opportunities are huge, but it is also important to maintain sustainable practices to avoid negatively affecting our surroundings. As we all know, electronics is one of the most dynamically evolving industries, closely linked to IT. We certainly don’t appreciate our components becoming obsolete every three years or so, only to end up in landfills or at recycling plants, causing significant energy expenditure to reform them. The goal of sustainability and net-zero emissions should influence ambitions at every level of shaping the industry.
